அடிப்படையில் ஒரு விளையாட்டு வீரராக தனது பயணத்தை தொடங்கியவர் திரு. பி. பாண்டியன். மாநில அளவிலான Powerlifting மற்றும் Bodybuilding போட்டிகளில் சாம்பியனாக விளங்கியவர். இவரது விளையாட்டு சாதனைகளுக்குப் பின்னணி சக்தியாக இருந்தவர், அவரது உடன் பிறந்த சகோதரர் திரு. சங்கர் – இந்தியா மற்றும் உலக அளவில் பல பதக்கங்களை வென்று தமிழகத்திற்கு பெருமை சேர்த்தவர். அவரின் ஊக்கமும் வழிகாட்டுதலும் திரு. பாண்டியனை ஒழுக்கம், அர்ப்பணிப்பு, சாதனை என்ற பாதையில் முன்னேற்றியது.
விளையாட்டு துறையில் சாதனை படைத்த பின்னர், சமூக நீதி மீதான உறுதியான பற்றுடன் சென்னை டாக்டர் அம்பேத்கர் அரசு சட்டக் கல்லூரியில் சட்டம் பயின்று, தற்போது சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் வழக்கறிஞராக சிறப்பாக பணியாற்றி வருகிறார்.
சமூக சேவையின் மீது இருந்த ஆழ்ந்த ஈடுபாடு காரணமாக, அடித்தட்டு மக்களுக்கு சட்டம், சமூக மற்றும் அரசியல் விழிப்புணர்வு இல்லாததால் அவர்கள் எதிர்கொள்ளும் அநீதிகளை நீக்க வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கில், 2000 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் மாதத்தில் அரசு விதிமுறைகளின்படி “தமிழக அறப்போர் இயக்கம்” தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
இந்த இயக்கம் அதன் தொடக்க காலத்திலிருந்து:
- சட்ட விழிப்புணர்வு
- சமூக விழிப்புணர்வு
- அரசியல் விழிப்புணர்வு
- அரசு நிர்வாக நடைமுறைகள் பற்றிய விளக்கம்
போன்ற பல்வேறு துறைகளில் மக்கள் பயன்பெறும் வகையில் முகாம்கள், கருத்தரங்குகள் மற்றும் நேரடி சேவைகளை தொடர்ந்து செய்து வருகிறது.
மேலும், “சட்டம் அறிவோம்” என்ற தலைப்பில் பல வார, மாத இதழ்களில் தொடர் கட்டுரைகள் எழுதி பொதுமக்களுக்கு சட்ட அறிவை எளிமையாக கொண்டு சேர்த்து வருகிறார். சமூக வலைத்தளங்களில் ஆயிரக்கணக்கானோர் இவரை பின்தொடர்ந்து பயன்பெற்று வருகின்றனர். தொலைபேசி மூலமாகவும், நேரடியாகவும், இயற்கை சீற்றங்களின் போது உதவி செய்து மனிதநேய பணிகளில் ஈடுபட்டு வருவது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
அவரது tireless சமூக சேவையை பாராட்டி கௌரவ டாக்டர் பட்டம் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும், Chennai Commissioner of Oaths ஆகவும், மத்திய அரசால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட Notary Public Advocate ஆகவும் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
இயக்கத்தின் முக்கிய நோக்கங்கள்:
- லஞ்சம் மற்றும் ஊழலை ஒழித்தல்
- சட்ட விழிப்புணர்வை பொதுமக்களிடம் ஏற்படுத்துதல்
- சமூக மற்றும் அரசியல் விழிப்புணர்வு பரப்புதல்
- அரசு நிர்வாகம் குறித்த தெளிவான புரிதலை உருவாக்குதல்
இன்று, தமிழக அறப்போர் இயக்கம் தமிழகம் முழுவதும் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்ட ஒரு வலுவான மக்கள் இயக்கமாக உருவெடுத்து, நீதி, நேர்மை மற்றும் நற்பண்புகளின் அடிப்படையில் சமூக மாற்றத்தை உருவாக்கும் பணியில் தொடர்ந்து செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது.

Mr. P. Pandian began his journey as a sportsman, excelling as a State-level champion in Powerlifting and Bodybuilding. A major source of inspiration behind his achievements is his brother, Mr. Sankar, who has brought pride to Tamil Nadu by winning multiple medals at both national and international levels in Powerlifting. His brother’s motivation and guidance played a crucial role in shaping Mr. Pandian’s disciplined and determined path.
Driven by a strong commitment to justice and social service, he pursued his law degree at Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai, and is currently practicing as an Advocate at the Madras High Court.
With a deep concern for the struggles faced by underprivileged communities—especially due to the lack of legal, social, and political awareness—Mr. Pandian founded the Tamilaka Arappor Iyakkam in April 2000, in accordance with government regulations, under the banner of National Integration Trust.
Since its inception, the organization has been actively engaged in:
- Legal awareness programs
- Social awareness initiatives
- Political awareness campaigns
- Public education on government administrative procedures
The organization regularly conducts camps, seminars, and outreach programs aimed at empowering the public with knowledge and rights.
In addition, Mr. Pandian has been writing a series of legal awareness articles titled “Know the Law” in various weekly and monthly publications, making legal knowledge accessible to the general public. He has also built a strong presence on digital platforms with thousands of followers benefiting from his guidance. The organization extends support through phone consultations, direct assistance, and relief work during natural disasters.
In recognition of his dedicated social service, Mr. Pandian has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate. He has also been appointed as a Commissioner of Oaths, Chennai, and as a Central Government Notary Public Advocate.
